Second Listen: "Love Calls" (Kem)

Back in 2003, Kem released his debut album Kemistry on Motown Records and the first single lifted from the project was the smooth sensual joint "Love Calls."

Though it only peaked at #25 on the R&B charts, the song opened up a phenomenal career and "Love Calls" still remains one of my favorites from Kem's discography. Take a second listen to the smooth song below and Enjoy!

Second Listen: "Share My Life" (Kem)

Last night, I was revisiting some of Kem's discography and was reminiscing about his smooth cut entitled "Share My Life" which was my personal favorite from his last LP.

Though it was released as his second single, in my opinion it is the strongest track from this effort and deserves more attention. With that said, take a second listen to "Share My Life"  below as we await new music from the Detroit crooner Kem.

Amazing Cover: "Never Too Much" (Kem)

Back in 2009 during one of Kem's concert stops in Greensboro, North Carolina, the crooner busted out a sublime rendition of the classic Luther Vandross hit "Never Too Much."

While Luther's songs are vocally and technically difficult to perform, Kem pulls of an amazing cover of Vandross' #1 hit "Never Too Much" and then lets into a great rendition of his own classic "Love Calls."

Peep the smooth performances below and if you haven't checked out his fourth studio album Promise To Love, it's in stores now and currently at the top of the charts!

New Video: "It's You" (Kem)

Kem released his latest album Promise To Love this week and to lead the set, "It's You" was selected  as the single to usher Kem back to radio after being gone for a moment.

"Although I've been signed to Motown Records since 2002, I feel "It's You"  is the first song I've crafted that truly embodies the essence of what we have to come to know as the 'Motown Sound', explained Kem. "If The Temptations were making music for today's R&B audience, this is what it might sound like. As for what it's about, the brother is in love, and he knows where home is. It's You!."

With that said, the official music video to "It's You" has hit the net to help build support for the single as well as Kem's fourth album Promise To Love. Therefore, take a few minutes and watch Kem's latest video below!

It seems like it's been a minute since we've heard some new music from Kem and now the Motown crooner is back with his new joint "It's You," which is serving as the official followup to his 2012 holiday album What Christmas Means.

Lifted as the first single from Kem's forthcoming fourth album, which is due this August via Motown, Kem has worked with the likes of  Demetrius Nabors, Ray Bardani [Luther Vandross], Bernie Grundman [Michael Jackson’s Thriller] and Paul Riser [Stevie Wonder, The Temptations] for production and mixing of the album.

With that said, take a listen below to Kem's new single "It's You" via his official lyric video and lookout for his current untitled fourth album this coming August.

Live Video of the Day: "Why Would You Stay" (Kem)

One of my favorite joint from Kem's latest album Intimacy: Album III was the lead off single "Why Would You Stay" and below you will find a sublime performance of this smooth ballad by Kem as he crooned it out during the 2010 Budweiser Fest.

Hopefully we will get some new music towards the end of this year or beginning of next as it's been a minute since we've gotten some new music from Kem. Either way it might turn out with regards to new music, watch Kem's powerful performance after the jump and if you don't have his latest album, go out and support the brotha as he always brings it on his LPs.

New Video: "My Favorite Thing" (Ronald Isley ft. Kem)

This past Tuesday, Ronald Isley released the official music video for his latest single, the Kem assisted "My Favorite Thing." Lifted from Ronald's latest album This Song Is For You, which was released earlier this summer, "My Favorite Thing" was my favorite joints lifted from Mr. Bigg's latest solo offering and I am glad it is finally getting the single's treatment.

In the official visual for "My Favorite Thing," Ronald and Kem let their ladies know how much they are loved/adored and their desires for them to just come on back home. Though a simplistic visual, the message resonates strongly and you can watch the official video after the jump
