Cut: "Mary, Did You Know?" (Cee-Lo Green)

Last year, Cee-Lo released his debut holiday album Cee Lo’s Magic Moment and while I didn't buy it to add to my holiday collection, I did add "Mary, Did You Know?" from Cee-Lo after hearing it on the radio which made me take notice of this brilliant cut from his LP.

With that said, take a listen below to Cee-Lo's sublime cover of "Mary, Did You Know?" as we move into the last few days of the Christmas season.

Second Listen: "The Thrill Is Gone" (Fantasia ft Cee-Lo Green)

One of my favorite joints from Fantasia's third album Back To Me, was the smooth mid-tempo duet "The Thrill Is Gone" with Cee-Lo Green. Though never released as a single, I believe it's one of the strongest songs on the album and definitely deserves to be given a second listen.

With that said, peep the thumping "The Thrill Is Gone" below and if you haven't checked out Fantasia's latest album Side Effects Of You, it's worth a purchase and listen in my opinion!

Cut: "Love Gun" (Melody Thorton)

Take a listen below to Melody Thorton's take on Cee-Lo Green's "Love Gun." Originally expected to appear on Melody's upcoming solo project, Cee-Lo instead used it on his album "The Lady Killer" with the Paradisco Girls' Lauren Bennett.

While I prefer Melody's version to the one used on Cee-Lo's album, the song as a whole is a nice catchy song and proves to really showcases Melody's phenomenal vocals. Listen below and Enjoy!

While I had forgotten about this gem from Alice, her performance of it during BET's telecast of Black Girls Rock reminded me of this sublime rendition of "Fool For You" and had me revisiting the brilliance of her take.

I have to be honest, I have been feeling conflicted about Cee-Lo Green after his comments we made in light of his no contest plea steaming from rape allegations and while his music is bomb, those acts cannot be taken lightly in my mind.

With that said, I have been revisiting his music and his Melanie Fiona assisted single "Fool For You" which would go onto win two Grammy Awards during the 2012 ceremony for both Best R&B Song and Best Traditional R&B Performance.

Smokey Robinson is getting ready to release his new duets album Smokey & Friends on August 19th via Verve Records and now the legendary singer/songwriter has released another new joint, this time a reimagined cover of his penned Temptations hit "The Way You Do (The Things You Do)."

Featuring Cee-Lo Green on The Temptations's "The Way You Do (The Things You Do)", which was released as a single back in 1964, the duo sounds great on this with their effortless harmonies. With that said, you can take a listen to "The Way You Do (The Things You Do)" below!

Janelle Monáe is back with a solid remix to Solange assisted joint "Electric Lady," which is lifted from her just released studio LP The Electric Lady. The Dungeon-Wondamix remix to her title-track "Electric Lady" features Big Boi, Cee-Lo Green, and of course Solange and it a solid addition to her Target deluxe edition.

Live Video of the Day: "Only You" (Cee-Lo Green feat. Lauriana Mae)

Cee-Lo Green appeared on The Ellen DeGenerous Show back in April and during his time on the show,  The Voice star and Grammy-winner performed his new single "Only You," which features Lauriana Mae. Lifted from Cee-Lo's forthcoming  solo album, due in October, this joint has been stuck in my head lately and you can watch Cee-Lo and Lauriana Mae share the stage on "Only You" after the jump!

New Joint: "Scream" (Cee-Lo Green)

Despicable Me 2 is slated to hit theaters on July 3 and the highly anticipated sequel to Despicable Me features an all-star lineup on its soundtrack, including Cee-Lo Green who worked with Pharrell on the retro joint "Scream.
