Earlier tonight, the 2013 American Music Awards aired earlier tonight and Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World took to the stage at Nokia Live here in downtown Los Angeles to perform their breakout hit collaboration "Say Something."

A Great Big World rerecorded their breakout joint "Say Something" with Christina Aguilera a few weeks ago and now the official video for their single has hit the net.

Featuring a subdued vocal from powerhouse Christina Aguilera, "Say Something" is a slow burning hit single that I am sure will rise to the top of the charts as it's already exploded into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Featuring a powerful simplistic video which includes Aguilera and A Great Big World performing at a piano spliced with clips of different vignettes, the video matches the theme and the tone of the video and you can watch it all go down below.

This past Tuesday, Christina Aguilera along with rising duo A Great Big World offered up their first live performance of "Say Something" on NBC's hit reality singing competition The Voice, where Christina finds herself once again as a mentor after taking a season off to recharge.

With that said, A Great Big World's "Say Something" is slowly burning up the charts and I am sure with the recent visibility of have Christina Aguilera featured on the rerelease and this powerful performance of the joint from The Voice, that the song will gain a little more fuel to the fire.

New Joint: "Say Something" (A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera)

A Great Big World's breakout hit "Say Something" has been receiving the remix and remake treatment since the song's slow burn explosion from its usage during FOX's So You Think You Can Dance finale back in September.

From that exposure, vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera came across the song and rerecorded it with the duo for a rerelease of the song that occurred this past Monday, with a televised performance of it on NBC's The Voice just last night.

With that said, Christina offers up a rather subdued vocal performance that reminds me of her aw inspiring rendition of "A Song For You" with Herbie Hancock a few years ago and has be interested in what the forthcoming musical chapter in her career will bring us. Hopefully more songs similar to "Say Something," but time will tell.
