Back in 1966, Ray Charles released his take of the Buck Owens' song "Crying Time." Written and originally recorded by Owens, in 1964, the song failed to chart, though Charles' rendition would go on to peak at #6 on the
Billboard Hot 100 as well as #5 on the R&B Charts.
Charles' rendition even went on to win the first and only
Grammy Award for Best R&B Solo Vocal Performance - Male or Female back in 1967. With that said, take a second listen after the jump to "Crying Time" and Enjoy!
