Roy Ayers is a musical pioneer and his joint "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" from his 1976 album of the same name, Everybody Loves the Sunshine is a fine example of his sonic works. "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" has of course been sampled numerous times by several artists including Brand Nubian, P.M. Dawn, Common, Mos Def and most famously in my book by Mary J. Blige. With that said, "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" is definitely in my top 200 songs of all time and Roy's infectious instrumentation and catchy hook make this song the perfect addition to any set list. Take a second listen after the jump and Enjoy!
