Macy Gray reinterpreted Kanye West’s "Love Lockdown" from his fourth studio album 808s & Heartbreak and I have to say its worthy of a listen or two as she flips the record a bit. Lifted from her Covered album, Macy's rendition samples "Buck," the 1967 Nina Simone record. Definitely a different vibe then the Kanye original, but it is an interesting choice of sonic vibes to say the least. With that said, listen after the jump and hopefully we will be hearing some new music from Macy Gray soon!
