While Brandy released Two Eleven last year, who can forget Bandy's debut single "I Wanna Be Down," which introduced us to the then teen vocal phenom. Written by Keith Crouch and Kipper Jones, "I Wanna Be Down" was released on September 6th, 1994 and started the meteoric rise of Brandy. Eventually peaking at #6 on the Bilboard Hot 100 and topping the Hot R&B Singles chart, Brandy officially arrived with the sublime start that her debut single provided her.
