Project in the Works: New EP Series (Miguel)
While Miguel is currently on tour with Alicia Keys as a part of her world tour Set the World on Fire, the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter seems to be hard at work on a forthcoming EP series similar to his 2012 project "Art Dealer Chic," which preceded Kaleidoscope Dream. While it is unclear if a third studio album from Miguel will follow his upcoming EP series, the three three song EPs are expected to carry the same tittle "Art Dealer Chic" but give fans even more than the first series of EPs.
Speaking to VIBE about his upcoming project, Miguel shared that "this time it’ll be bigger and better...I intend on having limited-edition apparel with them, so it'll be really dope." In addition to adding a clothing aspect to his upcoming EPs, fans can expect an official remix to Miguel's forthcoming single "How Many Drinks?" which will feature none other than Kendrick Lamar.
"Kendrick is poised to be the next staple in hip-hop [and] I certainly intend on becoming that for R&B," Miguel says. "I just feel like he’s just being honest in his music. Newer, younger artists, that's what we're all striving to do. Just be ourselves. Kendrick is one of the best examples of that."
Keep posted for new music from Miguel and time will tell if he will ride his current wave of success straight into his third album.
