Back in 1977, Rufus released their fifth studio album Ask Rufus and the platinum-selling album would go onto spur three singles including the third and final single from the LP "Everlasting Love." While it would go onto peak at #17 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, it is an often forgotten about classic of the Rufus and Chaka Khan repetorei.
