Album in the Works: "The Light Of The Dark" (Jill Scott)


Fans of Jill Scott might not have to wait so long for her followup to her forthcoming album "The Light Of The Sun" as the singer has announced through twitter that she already intends to have a followup entitled "The Light Of The Dark." While a release date and more details have been scares on the followup project, Scott did inform followers that the album will feature Too Short for sure. Check out her tweets bellow which confirm a follwup project to the highly anticipated "The Light Of The Sun," which drops June 21st!




Amazing Cover: "Close To You" (Ron Isley featuring Lauryn Hill)


While Ron Isley was recording his solo album "Mr. I," it appears that he and Lauryn Hill rerecorded the Burt Bacharach classic "Close To You," that Isley actually originally recorded for his covers album with Bacharach entitled "Here I Am." It seems like it's been a minute since we've heard from Welsh singer Duffy, though her sophomore album "Endlessly" dropped at the end of last year. Amazing Cover: "Superstar" (Ruben Studdard)



Check out Ruben Studdard's amazing cover of the Luther classic and The Carpenters' original "Superstar." While Ruben would agree that Luther has the all time best cover of this classic, Studdard's version isn't something to scoff at as I believe he comes in at a strong second or third.
