Macy Gray reinterpreted Kanye West’s "Love Lockdown" from his fourth studio album "808s & Heartbreak." Lifted from her "Covered" album, Macy's rendition samples "Buck," the 1967 Nina Simone record. Definitely a different vibe then the Kanye original, but it is an interesting choice of sonic vibes to say the least. With that said, listen below and lookout for Macy Gray as she is currently co-staring in Lee Daniels' "The Paperboy."
